Stop The Restriction Cycle! 🛑

Raise your hand if your new diet looks like this:

❌ No dairy

❌ No sugar

❌ No gluten

❌ No carbs

❌ No soy

❌ No alcohol

 

Now ask yourself…

How long can I ACTUALLY stick to this?

I don't know about you, but my daily diet consists of most of those things regularly… minus dairy... Because... Well, it makes me fart.  Sorry if that's TMI

Now, while I am all for cleaning up your diet and making healthy modifications, the all-or-nothing approach rarely works for anyone.

 

Short story:

When I was in my bodybuilding days, my diet was VERY RESTRICTIVE.  I mean eating the same 10 foods for MONTHS.  

🥵 Only sugar post-workout

🥛 No dairy

🍚 No carbs outside of white rice, sweet potatoes, and oatmeal

🍷 No alcohol

🥩 Red meat rarely

 

But I knew there was a deadline.  I knew this was temporary, and I knew that this was NOT MY LIFESTYLE.

All over the internet, you can find people touting their new diet or meal plan that they used to lose a ridiculous amount of weight, and it often looks like the above.

 

We have all tried diets

like that, and you may have even been successful short term, but then what happens?

You feel restricted, so you go ham the next time you see pizza. 🍕

You feel deprived, so one bite of your kid's ice cream turns into you finishing the whole container. 🍦

You say eff it, so you go buy all the things that you “couldn't” have and wake up feeling guilty the next morning for eating it all. 😞

I know this because this is exactly what happened to me.  🙅‍♀️ Enough was enough, and I decided enjoying things in life was more important than eating egg whites and oatmeal every day for breakfast.

Or reheated fish and rice… GROSS 🤢

👉 So I am going to let you in on a secret that's helped me not only maintain my healthy weight for many years, but it also helped my clients lose 100’s of pounds. 👈

 

THERE ARE NO FOODS OFF-LIMITS.  NONE.

 

That includes:

🍕 PIZZA

🍦 ICE CREAM

🍷 WINE

🍰 CAKE

🍞 BREAD

🍓 FRUIT

🥓 BACON

 

Literally, ANYTHING you want, you CAN HAVE.

You may be thinking to yourself, this is too good to be true.  There’s no way.

I can promise you that it is.

You see when you remove the narrative that you CAN'T have these things, they hold less power.

You can actually have the ice cream with your family, and not feel bad about it.

You can move on with your day and continue choosing your normal foods for the next snack or meal.

You no longer have the need to EAT EVERYTHING NOW, because you can never eat it again.

I teach my clients how to ADD to their meals instead of what to take away.

I teach them how to balance pizza nights, or girls' nights so that they can wake up feeling good about themselves.

I teach them how to love themselves for where they are now, but also know that change IS COMING.
